Creating Inclusive Excellence Through the Student Voice

How can I incite change in my school? This answer is simple- you cannot. Let us rephrase; school-wide change is not possible without a group of motivated individuals with a shared mission; however, motivating others and determining a range of factors behind inciting a positive shift in school culture are the most difficult part of the process. Based on extensive research at School for Advanced Studies in Miami, Florida, the secrets behind positively changing school culture at the secondary level are explored in this presentation, revealing to participants valuable strategies to empower everyone in their campus community and move even the most stagnant individuals to celebrate change.
