Learning Organization Framework

Sheldon Reynolds Cahn Fellow 2020

The current narrative of urban educational leadership is focused on issues of social justice and dismantling the oppressive system of public education. As leaders of color we are uniquely positioned to experience that this narrative often only scratches the surface of the transformative change needed to bring about sustainable, systemic change in education. It is often said that leadership is not based on title; however, many k-12 leaders underestimate their ability to inspire and influence change at all levels. Our goal of shifting our district as an organization to become learning-focused instead of results-oriented is lofty but also needed. Please join us on our journey as we seek to leverage our position within our district to bring about adaptive change not just at a school but rather at an organizational level through our Learning Organization Framework.
