Year of Acceleration for All (Yes, that includes Black Males)

Khalid Oluewu Cahn Fellow 2022

Although the literacy rates for black males at Webster Elementary have improved in recent years, there is still a significant number who struggle with literacy skills. A comprehensive approach to accelerate learning is needed so that more scholars, particularly black males, are performing at grade level. This narrative examines the collaboration between teachers, teacher assistants, partners, and administrators, as well as the use of practical strategies to enhance learning outcomes for primary-grade scholars.
