Battling Anti-Deficit Beliefs

Leila Garza Cahn Fellow 2022

This Cahn project focused on dismantling the anti-deficit beliefs of staff members to address our problem of practice. It entailed building our leadership capacity for having conversations on inequities, social justice, and anti-deficit thinking with staff and colleagues. The project is ongoing as we develop our skills and the skills of our stakeholders to be moved personally and even inspired as they discover their social justice impact on student success.
