“Building Trust While Saying Goodbye” is a reflective journey of my positionality and actions within the context of school trust, while transitioning from my role as turnaround Principal to that of a transformational leader. The project began as I concluded my fifth year as the Principal of Bronx Aerospace High School. Having recently experienced an emotionally charged school year during 2018-2019, it became clear that trust remained fragile.
