Do Something Different: Finding our Core During a Pandemic

Kia Banks Cahn Fellow 2020

Our Cahn project eventually focused on empowering teachers with resources and confidence to “Do Something Different” – to ensure that even in the midst of a pandemic, our students would continue to achieve academically, while growing holistically. We will discuss our journey to finding our core and a set of values that inspires, motivates, and values the perseverance, grit, and mastery of academic, social and emotional standards. An unexpected outcome of the project was the personal and professional growth of our educators, as well as our students.
