Despite operating a non-traditional education program, at York High School we embrace diversity, equity, and excellence. Our aim is to not only optimize opportunities for a marginalized group of students, but also to expand multiple pathways for access, and provide differentiated support to maximize success. Learn about our quest to manage the insurmountable demands of educating students in a detention facility, while localizing leadership to build staff capacity and confidence under rigorous education expectations.
