Reaching New Heights: Increasing Student Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by Connecting the Seminole Heights Community with Hillsborough High School How can we engage parent and community stakeholders more effectively? Originally, we started by looking at Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as Attendance, Behavior and Course Performance. These KPIs have been a major focus at our school since I became the principal five years ago. Two things, however, have become clear as we have continued to look at ways to improve: 1.) Very little of our work up to this point has involved the surrounding community of Seminole Heights, and 2.) The Seminole Heights Community has changed dramatically over the last five years, making the involvement/collaboration even more vital, but also difficult.
