RIGHT TASK + RIGHT TIME + RIGHT SUPPORT = RIGHT DIRECTION

This project examines our collective philosophies and methodologies for math teaching and learning. Our goals are to develop a more cohesive and well-aligned math program with a focus on student learning and achievement. We found the need to improve trust, co-create our instructional focuses and create a more supportive learning community based on analyzing learning goals, tasks and student work. We have worked to provide data and support to allow teachers to assess their practice and to design lessons to engage students in discussions. Our work targeted improving teacher practice to lead to our student goals of increased perseverance in problem solving, critical thinking skills and creating a growth mindset.
